Solo: A story of Star Wars did not do as well as Disney and Lucasfilm were hoping. The film has underperformed both critically and financially, but that does not mean everything was bad. It may have been by the books but Solo had fun scenes with a good action. One of the best scenes of the film comes in the form of a surprise appearance of Darth Maul, the former Sith Lord revealed as being the real Big Bad of the film. It was a favorite moment of fans, and this scene is now available for you to watch in full.

This clip is probably confusing for those who have not followed the different Star wars animated series, so here is an intensive course. By the dark side, Maul survived his defeat against Obi-Wan in The ghost threat and lived as a crazy robot half spider on a garbage dumpster planet – before being rescued and brought back into the fold by his brother and witches. Now a freelancer, Maul is taking revenge on all those who have wronged him and for gaining power. He did that especially by becoming a crime lord, eventually leading Crimson Dawn, the villains of Solo.

It's quite possible that this explanation made you more confused, but look Star Wars: The clone war and it will be clarified. The fact is that Darth Maul has been back for quite some time, but it's his first live appearance since 1999. And it's awesome! The scene itself, which can now be found on YouTube thanks to IGN, takes place at the end of the film, where Qi & ra (Emilia Clarke) contacts Maul and informs him that Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson) betrayed them. Maul tells Qi'ra to meet him on Dathomir, and they will work much closer from now.

It was a treat for Maul fans, but it leaves some questions. The biggest we will ever see the result for that? Solo $ 392.9 million has been raised worldwide, so it's unclear whether Disney and Lucasfilm will move forward with a sequel, which is arguably the best place to see Maul again. Maybe a comic book or novel will be published to fill in the gaps, but none of these projects have yet been announced. Until then, fans will have to be content to watch while watching The clone war and Star Wars: Rebels.
