Despite the decline in ratings for its first episode, ABC gives The Conners additional power to keep on the network.
Entertainment Weekly reports Friday that the series derived from "Roseanne" had received an additional order of episodes, bringing the total to 10-11. of the network after publishing a racist tweet directed against a former assistant to President Obama, Valerie Jarrett.
As for rebirth, "The Conners" was destined for a limited series, but ABC has now added another episode to its list. It's unclear why "The Conners" was added to a single episode and if that means the spirits behind the show are planning something special for the fans.
As previously noted, the premiere of "The Conners" fell well below the resounding ratings of the "Roseanne" revival in 2018. The event did not bode well for the series, which lost 25% of the audience between the first and the second episode, while the fans fainted after learning the fate of Barr's character.
