SPRING, TX (KXXV) –

Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a woman seen leaving a 2-year-old boy at her home in Spring, Texas on Wednesday night.

The woman left the child at a house in Block 307000 at Legends Ridge Drive at 8:20 pm

The owner said he heard a knock on his door and opened it to find a 2-year-old boy who was alone at his door.

The Montogomery County Sheriff's Office said that a video surveillance showed a woman in her twenties in the early thirties arriving home in a white car. We see her running with the toddler to the front door, then ring the bell, knock on the door and run to her car. The toddler and some bags that the woman was carrying were left on the doorstep.

The entire test lasted 23 seconds.

The sheriff's office is looking for women who have long hair under the waist and many tattoos on their right arm. His identity, as well as that of the toddler, are unknown.

The boy is not injured and appears to be in good health, the sheriff's office said. Child protection services have taken custody and seek to identify the family of the child.

On Thursday morning, the sheriff's office said they found the toddler's father. At 9:30, the woman has still not been identified.
