The Sierra HD GMC 2020 allows you to see directly through the trailer you are carrying

Truck yeahTrucks are good!

As we learned on Tuesday night, the GMC Sierra 2020 is far less ugly than its twin brother at Chevrolet, the 2020 Silverado HD, and has more cameras on board than the crowd at a Justin Timberlake concert. The cameras are also sophisticated, allowing a driver to see what he is carrying.

The new Sierra HD and the 910 lb-ft of torque of its turbo-diesel trim can tow "well over 30,000 pounds," according to GMC, which has yet to release official numbers. This means that the truck can tow a huge trailer, and GMC obviously wants drivers to see this thing from every angle. HD will have 15 camera views, including the "invisible" trailer.

The camera of the trailer does not make it invisible, of course, because it would be too cool and we, as a human population, do not deserve it. It's just a big optical illusion, which tilts with a trailer-mounted camera in a view mounted on the tailgate.

It's pretty cool, even though, like all of our filtered Instagram photos from six years ago, the colors do not fit perfectly.

GMC believes that the "transparent" trailer is an industry first and says it can help navigate parking lots, fit into traffic and make sharp turns.

Some of the other 14 cameras include top-to-bottom and side-to-side shots, truck bed angles and a camera view that can be mounted inside anything connected to the truck, case where you would need to check and see this, sink randomly in the middle of your trailer, the wrong way and blocking the entire walking area. You never know when this kind of thing could change.

Chevy did not talk much about his version of the Sierra, the new Silverado HD (abbreviation for "heavy duty"), not "awful, dude," but it should debut in February. The Silverado usually has less technology than the Sierra, but although it has almost the same number of camera views as this truck does, we can only think of the good thoughts of its future drivers.

What a terrible sight to potentially have to be seen from 15 different angles. May the Silverado HD have mercy on us all.
