The small senior class of Iowa has paved the way for future success

Friday will be an emotional day for the small, unified senior class as well as for the Hawkeye coaching staff. This small group of 14 seniors has been very successful as a child.

Six of Iowa's 14 seniors started out as walkers and they all made significant contributions to the Hawkeyes, including being the leader of the attackers, the leaders of the offensive line, the linebacker leaving and leaving the # 1. 39, inheritance from a group of guys who left Iowa in a better place than they found.

This group of seniors combined for a record of 35-16 years and was part of the legendary regular season of 12-0 in 2015. The Hawkeyes are known to be a program of "country of origin" and this class shows why 10 of 14 seniors in Iowa.

There is no doubt that this group has helped set the new standard for Iowa and has been a great mentor for many young upcoming talents. The future announces well, especially as most of this season's talent will come back next year. Let's take a closer look at each of the older people and what they have accomplished.
