The recent Spider Man the game had a lot of things to do, but one of the best was his spare costumes. To commemorate Spidey's penchant for inventing new costumes, and / or simply finding them hanging out on extraterrestrial planets, the Spidey unlockable garment was really well received and well executed.
Unfortunately, some costumes were missing. In my opinion, here are the best Spider-Man costumes that did not make the cut. Note that I have not included other Spider-people costumes, although we all know that Miles Morales' Spider-Man costume is amazing and I need a Spider-Gwen spin-off, like yesterday. I understand why these are not in the game, and I hope Miles will be fine in the sequel. Cool? Cool. Let's go.
The black suit
Yes, of course, it will probably show up in DLC or a sequel, but its absence was still wreaking havoc. Produced in an artisanal way on an alien planet at the crossroads of secret wars, this is Spider-Man's quintessential costume, the standard against which all others are judged. And it's elegant.
Superior Spider-Man
Doctor Octopus! Spider Man! Two great tastes that taste good together. This costume looks like some other major Spidey costumes, one of the lowest on our list in particular, but it has some verve. And these arms are so functional!
Cosmic spider-man
AKA "Captain Universe" Spider-Man. Once upon a time, Spider-Man temporarily merged with the cosmic power and character of Captain Universe, getting a new look. Now, it's a very stupid costume. That's why it's great. His Great ridiculous. I want it in 4K.
Future Foundation Spider-Man
Unironically, this costume is amazing. When Peter temporarily joined the Fantastic Four superhero organization, he got this elegant white and black number. This look is just enough distinct from his usual costumes to stand out, while remaining recognizable to Spider-Man. A class act, all around.
L & # 39; spider
An obscure choice, but I love it; in the old exiles books, we meet a Peter Parker who merged with the Carnage symbiote, becoming "The Spider", a version of "Spider-Man" with as much anger as snark. Not a great character, certainly, but the mix of the red Carnage style with a minimum of Spidey details? 10/10, honey, you own it.
Ben Reilly Spider-Man
Say what you want about the Clone saga, but Ben had a sense of fashion. (Its current iteration, not so much.) This combination rejuvenates the classic elements of the Spider-Man costume in a way that works perfectly for me. And honestly, I will never get tired of outdoor shooters. They add character.
The bombist bag
Once upon a time, poor Pierre Peter Parker was naked. After abandoning the symbiote with the help of Reed Richards, he needed a way to get home without his secret identity being discovered. And so was born the Bombastic Bag-Man, the great hero of Spider-Man. See how his bag slams majestically in the wind! The fact that it is not included is criminal.
Spidey temp costume
Sometimes you have to improvise. And sometimes you improvise badly. During a minor bow in Ultimate spider manPeter had to go out with a half-finished suit and had several problems to wear this. Look at his socks li'l! Put this in your game, Insomniac, and I will never wear anything else.
