Son of anarchy Paul John Vasquez died Monday night, confirms PEOPLE. He was 48 years old.
"This news has surprised us," said a representative of the actor at PEOPLE. "Our hearts are heavy. He was a kind, creative and loving man. We will miss him."
Vasquez was found unconscious at his father's house in San Jose, California, according to TMZ, who was the first to report the news. After arriving at the scene, paramedics were unable to revive the actor.
His exact cause of death is still under investigation, but TMZ reports that he appears to have suffered a heart attack.
Vasquez appeared on Son of anarchy in 2011. In addition to his role on the FX show, Vasquez played in the series CSI: NY, How did I meet your mother, ER, NYPD Blue and 21 rue des jumts in 1989.
According to IMBD, Vasquez has also worked as a writer and producer.
The sudden death of Vasquez occurs only a few months after his death. Son of anarchy Alan O'Neill died at the age of 47.
O'Neill's girlfriend found him unconscious in his apartment on June 6, confirmed his representative at PEOPLE.

The spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office previously told O'Neill, who played Hugh on the critically acclaimed series, that sequelae of chronic overconsumption of ethanol (alcohol) had occurred.
Other significant conditions include head-to-head cranial trauma and atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries.
It is thought that he fell and died, according to the spokesman for the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office, and his death was deemed accidental.
