The actress of "The Big Bang Theory", Kaley Cuoco, was as surprised as the rest of the world to learn that season 12 will be the last of the comedy. However, that does not mean she's ready to hang up her character, Penny, for good.
Speaking to Extra, the star echoed previous statements that the news was very sad for her and for the rest of the cast and film crew.
"It's broken my heart," she said at the exit. "I'm so sad that it ends. For the record, I would have done 20 more years.
The star continued to note that the news and the rest of the cast had been moved by the news, saying that most of them thought they were victims of an elaborate joke.

However, for fans who are sad of the end of "The Big Bang Theory," Cuoco gave them hope that they did not hear the last of the intrepid nerds band.
