Portland State University unveiled the names of the four officers on duty the night a homeless man died after his arrest near Southwest Sixth Avenue and Mill Street on Thanksgiving.

Campus Police Officer David Troppe and Public Safety Officers Michael Anderson, Danae Murphy and Nichola Higbee are on paid administrative leave to allow their officers to investigate Richard's death A. Barry, 52 years old.

Portland state officers responded to Barry's calls at approximately 8:19 pm and found him near the university's urban plaza. The officers called the Portland police for support after an argument with Barry. An officer from the state of Portland was injured in the altercation, police said.

Police at the scene called Barry to an ambulance "based on his behavior," officials said. The records show that her most recent address was a homeless shelter.

The homicide investigators and the professional standards division of the Portland Police Office are investigating this incident. The two city policemen on duty that night are also on administrative leave.

The Multnomah County Attorney will review the case and an internal review will also be presented to the Police Review Board.

The Office of the Oregon Medical Examiner began an autopsy on Friday, police said. They do not know when the investigation will be completed.
