The Denver Broncos will go well despite the withdrawal of receiver Demaryius Thomas. This is why I think it will be.
When the Denver Broncos traded receiver Thomas Demaryius to the Houston Texans on Tuesday before the deadline, many people in the Broncos country were unhappy.

He was the oldest player on the team since being selected alongside Tim Tebow in 2010. He has accumulated 665 receptions, 9,055 yards and 60 touchdown receptions in eight and a half years with the team.
From time to time, as a community of NFL fans, we see players leaving the team they have been with for so long. It's the very nature of the business. Tuesday was Thomas's turn. His departure marks the end of an era.
Now he has to go to Houston. Texans have an obvious start to the quarterback. He should be able to enjoy many years with the same distribution of support around him.
Regarding the Denver Broncos, the team has closed an important chapter of its franchise. They start again.
It seemed obvious that Thomas would not finish the season with the Broncos and that the decision to move on was easier since the team drafted Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton.
Sutton and Hamilton were part of a preliminary class of 2018 that has been qualified by many of the best classes among all teams this year.
Sutton becomes a starter with the departure of Thomas and this is fantastic news. This move allows Sutton to be at the top of the depth map alongside Emmanuel Sanders, giving him more experience.
In eight games, Demaryius Thomas captured 36 passes for a total of 402 yards and three touchdowns. Sutton has significantly fewer receptions (17), but his pace is better than that of Thomas (324). Thomas averages 11.6 yards per receiving, while Sutton averages 17.8.
Averages are constantly changing and each game will be different. However, it is important to note that Sutton's production comes largely from deep passes.
His ability to stretch the ground is incredible.
Now, as the second receiver of the team, Sutton's role will change and the Broncos will use it in many ways. They will give him more roads; more responsibilities. As a recipient, this can be a challenge. However, we have seen many great receivers in the history of the league.
I also think that the trade Demaryius Thomas relieves a little pressure from the quarter Keenum. Crazy, no? Well, it puts more pressure on Emmanuel Sanders, who is at the top of the rankings. The good news is that Sanders has already become Keenum's first receiver.
The Broncos are already a team in the foreground, but I expect the team will be more successful in the air. I hope that Keenum will progress better than during the first half of the season.
