Mom, what's a mixtape? And what are New Kids On The Block?
Pop fans who dream of reliving the 1980s can stop doing so. The New Kids On The Block group of middle-aged boys will be on the road in 2019 with fellow veterans of the 1980s, Salt-N-Pepa, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson and Naughty By Nature.
Together, they will embark on "The Mixtape Tour", whose technologically archaic title may confuse anyone born in this century. This three-month tour will visit 53 cities in North America. It begins May 2 at U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati and ends July 14 at the Hard Rock Event Center in Hollywood, Florida.
The tour will include at least six dates in California, starting with a stopover on May 23 at the Viejas Arena at San Diego State University. It will be followed by a show on May 24 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, a show on May 26 at the Hollywood Bowl, a show held May 28 at Bakersfield; s Rabobank Arena, a show held May 29 at the SAP Arena in San Jose and a show held on May 30 show at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.

Tickets for the general public will be available Friday at 10 am on ticketmaster.com and livenation.com, and by phone at (800) 745-3000. An online pre-sale for American Express members begins Tuesday at 10 am local time and ends at 10 pm Thursday.
