Sophie Turner unveiled an unusual trailer for X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
The star brought the trailer to Wednesday The late parade, where she and her host, James Corden, offered the first look at the X-Men movie that will adapt the classic comic book scenario and send the Marvel mutants in space.
The anticipation for the trailer was even higher than usual, as the film was moved from its original release date of November to 14 February 2019. The move was made to host rehearsals for his third act and allow him to launch in the first spot of February that saw 2016 dead Pool and this year Black Panther become great successes.
The film stars James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Alexandra Shipp, Tye Sheridan and Kodi Smit-McPhee. Jessica Chastain joins the franchise in a nasty role.
This will probably be the last film to present the actors who played the roles in 2011 X-Men: First class. The imminent merger of Disney-Fox will mean that the X-Men will be integrated into the cinematic universe of Marvel Studio, with confirmation by Bob Iger of Disney's The Hollywood Reporter Marvel Studios director Kevin Feige would oversee X-Men characters once the merger is complete.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix is written and directed by long-time scriptwriter and producer X-Men, Simon Kinberg, author of 2006 X-Men: The Final Clash, which partially adapted the classic Dark Phoenix scenario of the 1980s.
