The owner of the dog, Megan Brainard of Anoka, Minnesota, will receive $ 1,500 for Zsa Zsa's victory. Brainard found Zsa Zsa on an animal search site, according to the bio contest.

The dogs of the annual competition show off their imperfections – some have hairless bodies, others have hanging tongues. The dogs and their masters descend a red carpet. Dogs are evaluated by a jury.

The contestants included a crest-dachshund Chinese pooch covered in blackheads, a bulldog mix with excessive wrinkled skin and a Pekinese named Wild Thang.

The contest is in its 30th year. It usually takes place on Friday nights, but the organizers have moved the competition to Saturday in order to attract a larger audience.
