The website makes fun of Jon Gruden from the Raiders

Jon Gruden's honeymoon may not be over after the start of the Oakland Raiders game, but the fans put the wedding on the back burner.

Literally.

An anonymous soul or anonymous internet gang has risen through the ranks of the historically wild NFL fans, creating a simple – but remarkably ruthless – countdown to Gruden's last ten-year contract with the Raiders. Recorded and created on October 10 (before Sunday's collapse against the Seattle Seahawks), the tick-tocking platform is a single page with a raw domain name: isgrudengoneyet.com.

Jon Gruden has a lot of work to do to overcome a 1-5 start with the Raiders. (AP)

It contains only four bits of information:

1. A title: "Is Gruden already gone?"

2. A gigantic and capitalized answer: "NO"

3. A clock that times without mercy, counts what is presumed to be the number of years, weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds (!) From Gruden's contract to Oakland.

4. And for good measure, it includes a salary indicator that calculates: the amount of money that Gruden theoretically banked from the Raiders; the sum of money that he still owed theoretically; and the amount of money that he has theoretically earned during the precise time that a visitor has spent on the web page.

As for the fan-troll, he gets high marks for his simplistic entertainment value. It's not the age-old taunts to go to games with a grocery bag on one's head. Nor is it the brutally invasive approach of flying a banner over a stadium or paying for highway signs near the team's headquarters. But in the digital age, it's effective because it provides the few pieces of information Gruden had to follow for the rest of his coaching life – whether he succeeded or failed in Oakland.

This crazy duration of his contract (which he somehow denied). That figure of $ 100 million (which he also denied). And the only question that will define his failure or give him the opportunity to repress critics through a sneering success:

Has Jon Gruden already left? Nope. He is here for the long haul.

But those who will follow each of his movements and calculate the exact price that the Raiders have paid, up to the pennies spent and the seconds invested.
