The wheelchair Stephen Hawking, a screenplay for one of his appearances in The Simpsons and some of his most important papers are going to be auctioned.
A highlight of Christie's online sales The late scientist's personal articles will be a copy of his doctoral dissertation, which should bring in £ 150,000.
When the University of Cambridge completed the 1965 book, Properties Of Expanding Universes, available online last year, sparked such a demand that the website collapsed.
The On The Shoulders Of Giants auction also features Professor Hawking's Black Hole Explosions paper of 1974, a selection of his medals and awards, a copy of his bestseller A Brief History Of Time signed with an inch imprint and a bomber jacket.

Lucy Hawking, Professor Hawking's daughter, said that her father's archives were "a big part of her heritage," as well as "the history of science in this country."
"We are very pleased to be able to count on Christie's help in helping us manage the archives of our beloved father and his unique and valuable collection of personal and professional objects relating her life and work, "she said.
"We also give admirers of his work the opportunity to acquire a memory of our father's extraordinary life in the form of a small selection of evocative and fascinating articles."
Thomas Venning, head of the books and manuscripts department at Christie's London, said: "The sale will end with Professor Hawking's wheelchair, in which he has traveled the world as a scientific communicator, and from where his mind traveled to the confines of the .time space, making it literally and figuratively one of the busiest wheelchairs in history. "
Proceeds from the sale of the scientist's oldest wheelchair will be donated to the Stephen Hawking Foundation and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Professor Hawking died in March at the age of 76, with his funeral held in Cambridge, the city where he studied and worked.
The renowned scientist was diagnosed with motor neuron at the age of 22, while he only had a few years left to live.
But while his illness meant that he was using a wheelchair and an electronic voice synthesizer, he defied all odds.
His research has shaped modern cosmology and helped ordinary people better understand the universe. His book, A Brief History Of Time, is sold at 10 million copies and has been translated into 40 different languages.
The auction takes place from October 31 to November 8.
