The White House is working on a memorandum to be signed by President Donald Trump that would order government agencies to "conduct a thorough investigation" of large technology companies such as Google and Facebook, Bloomberg News reported on Saturday.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter manager Jack Dorsey and, more recently, Google's Sundar Pichai, have denied that their platforms are politically biased.

On September 25, state attorneys general should inform US Attorney General Jeff Sessions of their investigations into the practices of social media companies.
