The Witcher Image reveals Henry Cavill in the Netflix series

Netflix released the first image of Henry Cavill like Geralt of Rivia in their next adaptation of The witcher. The best selling fantasy series, which has already been adapted into a trilogy of video games acclaimed, follows Geralt, a monster hunter, who teams up with a witch and a princess to navigate a treacherous landscape.

I do not want to judge the series from a single advertisement, but it's certainly a look. To this day, in the collider Slack, we call this look "Owner of the Amsterdam Club", "Old Legolas" and "Sephiroth of Final Fantasy VII". But again, it's just a simple picture, and Netflix has probably released it because filming is about to start in Hungary, and they do not want shooting with a bad cell phone quality is the first look that Cavill embodies under the name of Geralt.

The witcher arrives on Netflix in 2019 and also stars Freya Allan (The war of the worlds in the badlands) as Ciri, Anya Chalotra (The ABC murders, Wanderlust) as Yennefer, Jodhi May (Game of Thrones, Genius) like Calanthe, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson (Courage) as Eist, Adam Levy (Knightfall, Snatch) like Mousesack, MyAnna Buring (Ripper Street, Kill List) like Tissaia), Mimi Ndiweni (Black earth up) like Fringilla, Therica Wilson-Read (Profile) as Sabrina, and Millie Brady (The last kingdom, adolescent spirit) as Renfri.
