With the signing period of the international free agent that opens Monday, the Yankees are waiting to land several prospects, including RHP Osiel Rodriguez and C Antonio Gomez.

The Cuban Rodriguez is the No. 5 ranked international prospect, according to Baseball America. At just 16, the arsenal of Rodriguez on the mound includes a fastball that has dominated at 96 mph.

Rodriguez is not allowed to sign until July 2 at the age of 16.

The Venezuelan Gomez, who signed with the Yankees for $ 600,000, has a time of 1.83. He is considered the third best receiver of the 50 best hope list, while ranking 14th overall.
