National Meteorological Service officials worked Tuesday to confirm tornado and waterpipe sightings in New England after several people shared photos and videos online.

A series of thunderstorms occurred in Massachusetts and Rhode Island on Tuesday afternoon, causing two tornado warnings. Forecasters collected reports of trees and wires from several cities after storms.

According to forecasts, it will not rain until the start of the first World Series game at Fenway Park, around 8 pm.

As storms crossed New England, a Twitter user posted a video of his porch in Sandwich.
