The origins of Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) necklace on That's us has become a little clearer like Kevin (Justin Hartley) finally landed in Vietnam. Be careful, the spoilers follow.
In "Sometimes," the episode of the NBC hit drama of Tuesday, Nov. 13, viewers saw Jack in Vietnam with Nicky (Michael AngaranoJack is back in the United States on a trip to Los Angeles with Rebecca (Mandy Moore ) and Kevin in Vietnam with Zoe (Melanie Liburd).
During Jack's story in Vietnam, the good soldier attempted to reunite his troubled brother in the same unit as him. When his application was rejected, he was forced to return to his camp. However, he did hitchhike, in part, and his complicated relationship with his stay in Vietnam was brought to light.
Spectators also saw the mysterious necklace making its way to the woman in the photo that Kevin had: It was forged, bought by a soldier, left on a bar after said soldier saw the intended recipient with another man, taken from the bar by a Vietnamese soldier and then lifted by the woman in the photo. Jack would see the same woman later in the middle of the night. Finally, Nicky was assigned to Jack's unit for two weeks.
In the present, Kevin and Zoe have toured Vietnam, indulging in local food, like bat. But that's That's usyou know it will not be that easy. Kevin also learned that Zoe did not want to see his father and did not explain why. Naturally, it bothered Kevin so much that he had to harass.
After the bat came back to haunt her, Zoe revealed why she did not want to see her father – that 's because he had sexually assaulted her. "He tries to contact me from time to time to make me forgive, but I have no interest, I moved on to something else," she said after Kevin had revealed that he was starting to fall in love with her.
"I'm telling you because my father has already ruined so much for me, I'm not going to let him ruin that too," she said.
During the That's us After the show, Liburd said Kevin helped Zoe learn to trust being vulnerable and open about his past and his father. "I think he's helped her that way," she says.
That's us broadcast on Tuesdays at 21h on NBC.
