Last week, a photo of what appeared to be Justin Bieber swallowing on a burrito became viral – mainly because the singer "Sorry" seemed to eat the burrito on the side like a piece of corn on the cob. While some fans have tried to streamline the unusual catering style, others wondered if the photo actually showed the real Bieber.
Well, the mystery is finally solved! It turns out that everything has been staged. This is true! A group of jokers known as "Yes Theory" hired a Bieber lookalike named Brad Sousa to help get the hang of it. They made him look new – with a wig and fake tattoos – to make the public believe that he was the real star.
The group then performed two viral cascades. First, they took Sousa out of her car to help a grandmother cross the street, thus giving the impression that Bieber had blocked traffic to perform a good deed. A sightseeing bus of the stars spotted the act and made it even more believable. Then the group took pictures of Bieber eating the burrito on the side.
After a slow start, the photos became viral.
However, not everyone was fooled. The director of Bieber, Braun scooter, knew that it was not the real Biebs. Despite everything, he continued to play and even posted a photo of the burrito shot on Instagram.
