OAKLAND, Calif. – The Golden State Warriors lost their fourth consecutive game on Wednesday – their fifth of their last six games – by bowing 123-195 to visiting Oklahoma City Thunder. The Warriors had never led after scoring the first basket of the match, while Oklahoma City continually responded to their attempts to merge.
Russell Westbrook had a tough game (5-15), but managed to put his first triple-double of the season with 11 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds. Dennis Schroder led the Thunder with 32 points on 12 out of 19 shots. Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant led the Warriors in the defeat, scoring 27 points each.

The Warriors struggled to find the offensive outside of their two All-Stars title early in the game. Durant and Thompson allied for 24 of the team's first 26 points. Damion Lee added a nice spark on the bench, but other than that, it was K.D. and Klay did most of the work all night. Faced with a strong defensive team like the Thunder, we could see the two stars of the Warriors use it as the game unfolded.
Schroder season
Aside from perhaps Paul George, Dennis Schroder was the best player on the field for the Thunder on Wednesday night. The fast guard split the Warriors' defense throughout the game and really started to roll when he hit two or three pointers in the third quarter. Schroder returned to the bench with the return of Westbrook, and coach Billy Donovan spoke of his evolving role before the game.
"We did not really have time to really work enough or enough with [Westbrook and Schroder] Play together. Some have experienced gambling situations … Dennis did a good job, whether in front of the bench or at first. "

Whenever the warriors seemed to want to reduce the gap, the thunder responded with a huge 3-pointer, a robbery or a changing basket. In the third quarter, George was the main culprit.
