Tiger Woods is back this week for the first time since he missed the cup at the US Open

The Major Champion 14 times participates in Quicken Loans National at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm. , an event it's organizing just outside of Washington, DC Tiger shot a par 72 even on Thursday, a 15-par turn, two birdies and a double-bogey.

Woods last played the event in 2015 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia. He finished in 18th place. He missed the cup the year before

Woods leaves at 9:20 am alongside Marc Leishman and Bill Haas. Follow along for the shot-by-shot analysis of his second round.

Hole 14 – Par 4

The par 4 flyable plays 282 yards today, and after running short with 3-wood yesterday, Tiger first pulled the driver, then came back to 3-wood. He should have stayed with the pilot because his tee shot found the bunker. It's a good, not great, running at the bangs right next to the putting green, setting up a two-putt chance or going up and down for the peer (depending on how he plays). His putt had too much juice and ran 4 to 5 feet after the hole, but he was tying on a hole that could have been a birdie. 1-under thru 5 (1-under for the tournament)

Hole 13 – Par 4

For the fourth consecutive hole, Tiger gets rid of the tee, and this one is perfect. His corner kick in the green is just as nice, landing in front of the hole and returning for another birdie look. This one never broke for Tiger and just misses it. By. 1-under thru 4 (1-under for the tournament).

Hole 12 – Par 3

152 yards today on number 12, and Tiger finds the green, pin-up right of the cut, about 20 feet. Chirp-chirp-chirp, Tiger replies with a birdie to return to 1-under thru 3 (1-under for the tournament).

Although this boguey on # 11 was not great, it was clearly not a hitchhiker after his birdie on No. 10. Letting down a shooting after hitting an obstacle was a good result. Tiger looks to do it early today.

Hole 11 – Par 4

Just like yesterday, Tiger got off to a good start. For the second consecutive hole, he hit a beauty with an iron and finds himself in the middle of the fairway. Oh man. This one went right, a complete mishit, in a swamp risk. Tiger was in full swing just to get this one 5 feet from danger. His fourth shot rises on the putting green, leaving a 5-foot putt to save bogey. Return to same until 2 (same for the tournament)

Hole 10 – Par 5

Tiger leaves with an iron from the start and finds the fairway on the left. His second shot from the fairway is right next to the putting green, which gives him the opportunity to go out of his way for the birdie at his first hole. He went with the green putter here and left it short, north of 20 feet. This guy knows what he does, however, because he sinks the birdie putt to fall to 1-under thru 1 (1-under for the tournament).

This was a fantastic start for Tiger. He takes advantage of his length, finds a fairway and sinks a clutch putt, something that he struggled with yesterday.
