Titans of Tennessee at the Dallas Cowboys (-6)
Mon 11/5, 8:15 pm ET
Four things to know before betting on Titans-Cowboys:
1. The Cowboys will try to stay perfect at home by hosting the routed titans on Monday night. The Tennessee offense, which totaled 31 points in three games in October, is a loss to Dallas, which has not awarded more than 24 points in any game this season. The Cowboys have only allowed 44 points in their three home games in 2018, the most recent of which was a 40-7 loss to the sixth week of Jacksonville. Tennessee, meanwhile, managed just nine points against the same Jacksonville team three weeks earlier. The Titans won this match 9-6, which is the team's only win in its last six away games (home or London).
2. One of the main reasons for the Cowboys' success at home is the team's ability to take care of football – Dallas has not yet returned the ball in a home game this season. It is likely that this series will continue as Tennessee has played six straight games without forcing more than one lap. Dallas is 6-1 (4-2-1 against the spread) since the start of the 2016 season against an opponent whose average business figure is one lap or less.
3. The Dallas offense is based on a ground attack averaging 136.9 yards per game (fourth in the NFL) on 4.9 yards per run (third). The numbers at home were even more impressive, with Dallas averaging 176 yards rushing per game, or 5.2 yards per run, averaging 32:14 possession time per game. Ezekiel Elliott, an offensive midfielder averaging 112 yards per game at home with 5.1 yards per run. Meanwhile, visiting opponents averaged 65 yards rushing per game, or 3.6 yards per race, with a 27:46 possession this season at AT & T Stadium.
4. The Cowboys are 19-9 Away in the game against an AFC opponent since Jason Garrett was named head coach in 2010, which includes a mark of 5-1-1 against the gap (6-1 in a row) against the AFC South teams. Garrett also found a way to rally his team after heavy losses, such as the one Dallas had suffered before its eighth consecutive week, after losing 20-17 to rival Washington. Under Garrett, the Cowboys are 7-0 after losing on the road in their previous match by three points or less. Dallas is also 8-2-1 against the gap of 5 to 9 weeks since the start of the 2016 season.
