"Took this guy to do things"

Actor Tim Allen said in an interview published this week that President Donald Trump was doing things for America despite the "drama" and "theater" around his administration.

"I got to know each other [Trump] at the charity event years ago, and this certainly does not fit the man who tweets, "said Tim Allen. Weekly entertainment. "I've met a lot of people in private whose public figure is a little off the mark. My perception is, "Let's see what he's doing." "It does not do it very attractively but you do not even realize that the economy is doing better. Is it? There is so much drama, "continued the veteran actor. "It may have taken that kind of guy to get things done because he was so stuck in the mud. I only watch the theater and try to keep my personal opinions out. What difference does it make to me that I like it?

Allen's show Last man standing was canceled by ABC last year but was quickly resumed for a seventh season by Fox. The new season will be broadcast on September 28th.
