Does LSU deserve to be ranked in the top 4?
The Tigers had two victories against teams ranked in the top 10 at the time, which upset the draws. 8 Miami at week 1 and then-no. 7 Auburn Saturday. The 22-20 win over Auburn came on the road.

Yes, LSU deserves to be ranked in the top 4.
But this begs the question: which team should be abandoned after a win? Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Clemson and Oklahoma State all qualified for the first five teams.
They all won their games of the week 3.
In the end, I abandoned Clemson in fifth place and Oklahoma in sixth place. While I'm sure to be flooded with negative emails and comments on my Twitter notifications, Alabama and Georgia have distinguished themselves -2 teams and Ohio State already has three double-digit wins over the enemies of Power-5.
For the moment, LSU deserves a place of first rank. This could change next week and understand that it's only week 4. Things will happen.
The SEC will not have three teams in the top 4 by the end of the season.
The bottom of the survey was also chaotic.
Arizona State, TCU, USC and Boise State finishes. In California, BYU, Duke and South Florida
BYU upset No. 6 Wisconsin. The only fault of the Cougars this season was 3-0 California (who also has a victory over North Carolina to his credit).
duke is 3-0, with wins at Northwestern and Baylor.
South Florida beat two Power-5 teams – Georgia Tech and Illinois – in the last two weeks.
It's week 4. Again, things will be played out. There are more than half a dozen other teams on my list of top 25 teams including Boston College, Syracuse, Colorado, Cincinnati, some undefeated Big Ten and Pac-12 teams and previously ranked Michigan State, TCU and Boise State.
For now, here is my AP Top 25 newsletter after week 3:
