Top 25 polls AP: Notre Dame enters the top five, Florida makes a huge jump in the ranking of college football

Florida and Texas are advancing in the college football standings with a serious boost after their rival wins in Week 6. In the AP Top 25, the Gators were one of the biggest engines after defeating LSU, gaining eight places at 14. by the Longhorns, who won 10 places in ninth place after beating Oklahoma at Red River Rivalry.

Alabama remains the country's No. 1 team, followed by Georgia, Ohio State and Clemson. Notre Dame went up in the top five thanks to the loss of LSU and Penn State enters the top 10 thanks to the places left open by the defeats of Auburn and Oklahoma.

Among other notable moves, Auburn lost 13 places in 21st place and the USF and Cincinnati AAC combo entered the 2018 poll near week 7 with undefeated records.
