EMERALD ISLE, N.C. (AP) – Two tornadoes have caused damage on the coast of North Carolina.
The National Meteorological Service reported that two tornadoes had struck Saturday afternoon. A tornado hit the island of Emerald and the other near Cape Carteret.
No injuries or deaths have been reported.
The National Meteorological Service said that several houses had been damaged and public service lines had been damaged. A big house has lost much of its roof.
