CLEVELAND (AP) – Police say a bus carrying British singer Gary Numan struck and killed a 91-year-old man in Cleveland.

Authorities say the Numan tourist bus was turning right when it hit the victim as it crossed a pedestrian crossing on Monday afternoon.

Numan said on Twitter that he and his team "have all been devastated by this deadly accident".

The singer was scheduled to perform Monday night at the Cleveland House of Blues, which canceled the show.

Numan filled the stadiums with Tubeway Army in the 1980s. He now lives in California and his recent songs include "Love Hurt Bleed" and "My Name Is Ruin".
