The eldest son of the former governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, was arrested for assaulting an acquaintance at his home in Alaska – his third spousal violence arrest in less than three years.
Track Palin, a 29-year-old veteran of the army, was arrested Friday night at his Wasila home for offenses at an online dispatch obtained by the local KTVA station.
"Investigation revealed [Track Palin] assaulted an acquaintance at his residence, "the soldiers wrote in the dispatch. "When the acquaintance tried to call the authorities, he prevented him by taking away his phone. During his arrest, Palin physically resisted the soldiers. "
Track is held without bond at the Mat-Su Pretrial facility.
Last December, Palin reportedly threw his father Todd Palin on the floor and beat him repeatedly on the head, leaving him covered with blood and a liquid oozing into his ear.
Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican Vice President, told the police at the time that her son was "panicking and taking medicine."
When the police arrived, they saw the parents fleeing the house in separate vehicles, Todd Palin with blood running down his face and Sarah Palin "visibly angry," the newspaper reported.
The police confronted Track Palin, who called them "peasants" and asked them to lay down their weapons, according to documents obtained by the Los Angeles Times at the time. Finally, he left the house handcuffed.
This case was heard by the Alaska Veterans Court.
Track was also arrested in January 2016 for domestic violence assault, following a fight with his girlfriend then, according to the local report.
