This is good for donut lovers, but not for people who live in the area. For residents, the inauguration has turned into a nightmare.
People queued day and night in the store, cluttering the streets of the neighborhood and packing the service behind the wheel. Oh, and they were loud too. Drivers sitting in the driving department continued to bang horns and all these horns prevented residents from settling down until early morning.
Krispy Kreme knew that there was a problem.
The donuts empire is therefore set to work, by developing a plan to reduce traffic jams, by installing road signs in the hope of putting some order in driving lines of service and encourage customers to be more "respectful" of neighbors.
But that was not enough. On Wednesday, Krispy Kreme again visited Twitter to say that he had "listened to our neighbors" and closed the driving service at night. Now it is open from 6:00 to 23:30.
"We were expecting a warm welcome from Krispy Kreme in Ireland and we wanted to open a shop here, but the response was way above our most optimistic expectations, so thank you for your patience," the company tweeted.
