The cast also includes Bradley Cooper and Michael Pena.

The first trailer of Warner Bros. & # 39; The mule was released, starring Clint Eastwood as a drug mule.

Eastwood also produced and directed the film, based on the story of Leo Sharp, a former real-life drug carrier, a Second World War veteran who introduced cocaine for the Sinaloa cartel in Mexico, from Sharp, deceased in 2016, became the oldest and most prolific mule.

The caravan opens with Earl Stone, the Eastwood character, on the roadside, frantically opening a cocaine-filled gym bag at the back of his truck. While a sheriff approaches and asks if he needs help, he stalls.

"I give my niece pecans, she makes the worst pecan pie you've ever tasted," he said nervously before the barking sheriff, the K-9, apparently gave up.

The trailer describes the conflict between Stone's family and financial responsibilities. Although he turns out to be a competent smuggler, he is facing a new threat: the DEA.

"The family is the most important thing," said Eastwood's character in voiceover. "Do not do what I did, I put the work in front of the family."

Bradley Cooper plays the role of Colin Bates, the DEA officer pursuing him, and Laurence Fishburne plays a special agent. The cast includes Dianne Wiest (ex-wife of Stone), winner of an Oscar, and Michael Pena (in charge of law enforcement). We see him parade through the streets alongside the character of Cooper in the trailer.

The mule will be released in theaters on December 14th.
