Josh Parsons decided to inform his parents of the transition by leaving a note on their bed. When they woke up, the 14-year-old Londoner had already abandoned his old clothes and had cut his hair. His mother Lisa supports him throughout the process. Josh has three sisters and when Lisa was pregnant with Josh, she knew that he was going to be different. But now he's "happier than I've ever seen him," she says.
