Trays Scott and Frank Ocean's reward voters who went to the polls

On November 6, countless celebrities urge fans to vote in the midterm elections. Whether PSAs or social media photos proudly wearing their "I Voted" stickers, stars use their platforms to highlight the importance of voting. However, some celebrities carry their messages to the next level and really walk. Freebies Travis Scott and Frank Ocean get fans at the polls.

Scott and Ocean both announced that they were offering free gifts to fans who prove that they voted. This not only encourages people to exercise their right to vote, but also gives them fairly sweet products. (And the two artists have remained true to their word: fans have already posted the evidence on Twitter.)

On polling day, Scott announced that he would donate Astroworld festival tickets to voters in his hometown of Houston, Texas. "SAVE A FEW TITS FOR THE CITY IN THESE PLACES TO VOTE, GO TO VOTE !!" he wrote in the tweet. His post included polling locations where tickets would be available and indicated that voters with proper evidence would receive two tickets each for the November 17 festival.

In a similar initiative, Frank Ocean said that he would give voters free goods with an ad made on his Tumblr. The leaflet-shaped poster explains that voters in Houston, Miami, Atlanta and Dallas will have to prove that they voted in specific places. "Bring the proof (a ballot) that you voted for one of the locations below and earn money for free.Because God bless America," reads in the message. The poster and folders feature "42%" repeatedly, which corresponds to the non-voting population.

Both artists have kept their word, their fans have already turned to social media to show their incredible rewards. On election day, some fans posted photos of their tickets for Scott's Astroworld.

And Oceans fans are already walking, already wearing their voting shirt offered by the artist.

As The Hill pointed out, the places where Ocean merchandise is available are super strategic. They are located in cities in which three Democratic candidates run for office: Florida governor candidate Andrew Gillum, Georgia's governing candidate Stacey Abrams, and the Texas Senate nominee Representative Beto O'Rourke.

Nor is this gesture a surprise on the part of Scott, who has spoken vocally and actively in politics in the past. In October, Scott spoke at the Beto O 'Rourke rally in Houston. O 'Rourke stands as Democratic nominee against Republican Ted Cruz in the US Senate race in Texas. "I just want to reiterate very quickly … all the kids we just need to go out and go to these polls," Scott told the crowd. "Only we from 18, we can change the world."

Meanwhile, Ocean spoke at the mid-term of her Beats 1 radio show, Blonded Radio, in the light of the big day. "We are against gerrymandering. We are against the laws on the identification of voters. We are against the repression of voters, "he said in support of the Democratic Party.

Whether or not the fans agree with them politically, the fact that these artists have encouraged even more people to exercise their right to vote is a success.
