A lawsuit filed against Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo said he had sexually assaulted a woman and obstructed a criminal investigation into what had happened in a hotel room in Cristiano Ronaldo. Las Vegas in June 2009.

Kathryn Mayorga detailed the alleged incident that occurred in a penthouse suite inside the Palms Hotel and Casino at Clark County District Court on Friday. She alleges that Ronaldo entered the bathroom and pulled her into the room where the attack took place.

"Cristiano Ronaldo turned the complainant on her side and shouted" no, no, no, "according to the civil suit.

Mayorga alleges that she was sodomized by Ronaldo and that this resulted in "serious emotional and bodily injury, including anal bruising, post-traumatic stress disorder and major depression".

The lawsuit follows a report from last week published by the German magazine Der Spiegel that the first reported on pre-trial allegations was filed. A spokesman for Ronaldo called the article "nothing but a piece of journalistic fiction."

Mayorga reported the alleged sexual assault on the same day to the police and underwent a sexual assault examination at a local hospital, according to the lawsuit.

Mayorga says that the hospital's medical staff and a police inspector told her that she would be "subjected to public humiliation as a victim of sexual assault", and that Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as those associated with him, would further humiliate her by publicly calling her a woman who had consented to sex and who, because of her wealth and fame, was now trying to extort the money to Cristiano Ronaldo by mistakenly accusing him of sexual assault. Mayorga's current attorney, Leslie Mark Stovall, claims in the lawsuit that Ronaldo "has hired a team of" repairers ", known as" personal reputation protection specialists. "These repairers have negotiated a Settlement of $ 375,000 with Mayorga and the agreement was intended to prevent the plaintiff, her family, her friends and her lawyer from talking to anyone, including the police, about the sexual assault.

USA TODAY Sports did not immediately return a message sent to the Las Vegas police late Sunday night.

As part of the lawsuit, Stovall seeks the invalidation of the non-disclosure agreement that was part of the settlement. Beyond Ronaldo, the lawsuit also lists the fixer team as co-defendants.

Ronaldo, considered one of the greatest footballers of all time, has five times won the Golden Ball (awarded annually to the best male player in the world).
