Tripura's health minister urges free measles-rubella state

The Minister of Health has urged all battery owners, including guardians, to come forward and ensure that not one child stays out of the reach of MRI coverage. To raise awareness and reach every sector of society and raise public awareness, it also uses social media.

This vaccination campaign against measles and rubella (MR) in India will cover about 41 crore children across the country aged from 9 months to 15 years. In February 2017, the first phase of MRI training was conducted in Goa, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Lakshadweep, where 3.6 children were vaccinated.

Starting in August 2017, the second phase of the campaign has started and targeted about 3.6 million children in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Kerala, Daman and Diu. , Dadar and Nagar Haveli.
