As if being slaughtered by Michigan in a Big Ten game was not enough, Nebraska was caught on Saturday by a fast food restaurant.
With the Huskers well beyond the Wolverines in the fourth quarter, Wendy's has offered a zinger at the right pace to Nebraska's followers, selecting coach Scott Frost.
"Perhaps Scott Frosty should take a toll on the Nebraska Passage," he said. The official Twitter account of the restaurant wrote.
The 56-10 potential loss to Michigan sent Nebraska down to 0-3. This is the first time since 1945 that the Cornhuskers have lost three consecutive games to start the season.
Frost, in his first year at the helm after a successful pass to central Florida, said this week about his program, "it could get worse before it gets better."
