Vicente was about 201 km southeast of the port of Salina Cruz, where there is a major refinery owned by the national oil company Pemex, with sustained maximum winds of 80 km / h.

The storm was moving at about 14 km / h (14 km / h) to the west and is expected to head northwesterly early next week to touch the lands near the Mexican states of Guerrero and Michoacan as soon as Tuesday.
