Trump again insults Woodward's book and says he's going to write "the real book!"

President Trump visited Monday morning on Twitter to attack watergate journalist Bob Woodward's famous book on the Trump White House "Fear".

In his first of a series of tweets, Mr Trump called Woodward's book, which publishes Tuesday, a "joke" and said he would write his own account of the White House.

"Woodward's book is a joke – just another assault on me, in a flood of aggression, using unnamed anonymous and anonymous sources," tweeted Trump. "Many have already come to say that their quotes, like the book, are fiction, Dems can not stand to lose, I'm going to write the real book!"

Woodward's book (published by Simon & Schuster, a division of CBS) paints a picture of disorder within the Trump White House and presents devastating quotes from government officials about its inner workings.

In a case described in the book, Chief of Staff John Kelly told a meeting that Mr. Trump had "derailed", apparently calling him "silly," and describing his work at the White House like "crazy city".

Kelly later said, "The idea that I have ever called the president an idiot is not true," but she did not deny the other derogatory comments.

According to Woodward's report, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis also alleged that Mr. Trump included "a fifth or sixth year student".

The president's frustration grew when, shortly after the publication of parts of Woodward's book, the New York Times published an anonymous tribune by a senior Trump official who wrote a quiet "resistance" to the Trump government. .

"People should be better aware of what is happening," Woodward said of the White House during an interview on his new book on "Sunday Morning" from CBS News.

Shortly after his first tweet, Mr. Trump followed another.

"The White House is a machine that works well." We do some of the most important and important transactions in our country's history – with many more to come! Dems go crazy! he said.
