President Donald Trump made an unusual entry at a rally in Biloxi, Mississippi on Monday night, when he came out of what appeared to be an oversized fireplace decorated for Christmas with stockings.
The scene itself was dotted with seasonal elements, including Christmas trees, giant nutcrackers, a sleigh and an inflatable helicopter with a penguin pilot, while many spectators held up "Merry Christmas" signs on the Trump theme while dummy snow was injected into the room.

"That's the costume," Trump said as the flakes fell on him. "Here's the hair."
If the emergence of Trump in a fireplace was to evoke Santa, the critics on Twitter had some other images in mind:

It's so disappointing when people are waiting for Santa, but rather get Krampus the Christmas demon.

False snow? I thought Christmas was finally free from oppression. Deserve the real snow. Sad.
