Twitter’s having a field day after Trump denied knowing “Celebrity Apprentice” contestant Lil Jon at the post-midterms press conference.

Despite being on “Celebrity Apprentice” with Lil Jon, the president denied knowing who the rapper/DJ was during a heated press conference Wednesday. The Commander-in-Chief was asked about accusations of racism, includingLil Jon’s claim that Trump called him Uncle Tom.

“I don’t know who Lil Jon is,” Trump fired back.

“He was on ‘The Apprentice,’ ” the reporter replied. (Lil Jon appeared on the reality show with Trump, as a contestant, in 2011 and 2013.)

“Oh, he was?” Trump asked. “OK. Oh, I see. I don’t know… I would never do that, and I don’t use racist remarks, and you know what, if I did, you would’ve known about it.”

Writing off the notion that there are tapes of him using racist language, Trump reiterated, “I have never used racist remarks.”

But Lil Jon has told a different story. The rapper addressed the incident in a statement shared to Twitter in 2016, the day a report on the same topic was published by The Daily Beast.

“When this ‘Uncle Tom’ incident happened on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ in the boardroom several of my cast mates and I addressed Mr. Trump immediately when we heard the comment,” the “Turn Down for What” artist wrote on Twitter. “I can’t say if he knew what he was actually saying or not, but he did stop using that term once we explained (its) offensiveness.”

After the Wednesday’s conference, Twitter was abuzz with people who found Trump’s remarks comical, including former presidential aide and “Apprentice” contestant Omarosa Manigault Newman.

“Can someone at the WH show #45 this picture of @LilJon. It might help jar his memory,” she tweeted

Vice editor Gabrielle Bluestone also shared a photo of Trump and the musician embracing, writing: “Trump: ‘I don’t know who Lil Jon is’ “.

CNN anchor Jake Tapper had a similar idea, tweeting a photo of Trump next to Lil Jon, beaming and give a thumbs up.

One user envisioned Lil Jon being interviewed about the incident, responding with only his signature catchphrases like “YEAAAAHHHHH” and “OKAAAYYYY”.

Another user did some digging to find a Trump tweet from 2012 lauding the “fabulous” Lil Jon, and exclaiming: “The fans love him!”

“But he doesn’t know who Lil Jon is?” the user tweeted, full of skepticism.

Similarly, another user selected a GIF from “Chappelle’s Show” with the starring comedian dressed as the rapper saying, “What?”.

“Trump: I don’t know who @LilJon is,” the person wrote, adding the GIF as a response for the “Reporter and Lil Jon”.
