President Donald Trump hung a painting depicting a fantastic scene where he spent time with former Republican presidents at the White House.
The scene shows Trump sitting between Dwight D. Eisenhower and Richard Nixon and looking at Abraham Lincoln, who is right in front of him. Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, Teddy Roosevelt, Dwight Eisenhower and the two Bushs are also laughing and drinking in the painting.
The painting could be seen in the episode of "60 minutes" on Sunday night, which was interviewing Trump at the White House.
The painting, titled "The Republican Club", is from the artist Andy Thomas, who reacted by seeing his painting on the White House wall on Facebook.
"Wow, during the 60 Minutes interview tonight, look what's on the wall!" he wrote.
Thomas wrote on her website that the painting had a "subtle feminist message" due to the woman in the background walking towards the table.
"While I was painting, I thought these guys are a little intimidating, it's the kind of woman who will be our first presiding chair, she'll walk right to the table," he writes. .
He also stated that he had a hard time giving Trump a "sincere smile" and that he had had to redo the chart after his first catch seemed off to him.
Thomas told the Daily Beast that Trump had called him to tell him how much he loved him.
"He actually gave me a very kind call to tell me how much he loved him," he said about Trump. "He was very complimentary, he said that he had seen a lot of paintings of himself and that he rarely liked them."
TIME reported that Trump, who does not drink, is described as having a diet coke in the scene.
According to the Daily Beast, Republican Representative Darrell Issa gave the painting to Trump. It costs between $ 155 and $ 1,700, depending on size and edition.
Thomas' website also features an almost identical version of the painting entitled "The Democratic Club", where Barack Obama sits, where Trump sits in the Republican version.
