The Secret Service agents were spared Thursday by the dangerous task they had to tackle unwanted products. The White House confirmed that President Donald Trump and his family did not serve any romaine lettuce at their Thanksgiving dinner.

The White House said the menu at the Trump Mar-a-Lago property in Palm Beach, Florida, included Caesar salad – a tidbit that made eyebrows just two days after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warned not to eat a new outbreak of E. coli contamination.

Romaine lettuce is the traditional base of Caesar salads, but when asked about the menu, the White House told NBC News Thursday night that no Roman was used.

Here is the rest of the presidential holiday menu, according to the White House:

  • The full salad bar includes Caesar salad, wedge, tomato / mozzarella and Greek salad, devil eggs and duck prosciutto and melon.
  • Seafood display with Florida crab, oysters, giant shrimps and clams.
  • A cutting station with turkey and all accompaniments, beef tenderloin, lamb and salmon.
  • Chilean bar entrees, snapper and braised spare ribs.
  • Accompaniments including whipped potatoes, sweet potatoes, vegetables and traditional stuffing.
  • Assorted desserts.
