Trump was referring to a Hollywood Reporter interview Saturday, in which Fallon said that he faced negative feedback for the 2016 interview.
Fallon told the publication, "There are 300 people working here, and when people talk badly with you and gang up on you, in a real gang mentality. "
Fallon said that he did not do it to normalize Trump, who was the Republican candidate at the time.
