At the opening monologue of his last show of the season, HBO Bill Maher president slammed Donald Trump for his ruthless response to California wildfires and other disasters.
"Trump's response was to blame the victims, to withhold federal funds," said Maher, referring to Trump's tweet accusing forest management of deadly fires.
There is no reason for these massive, deadly and expensive forest fires in California, if it is that forest management is so bad. Billions of dollars are given every year, with so many lives lost, all because of poor forest management. Remedy now, or more payments from the Fed!

He continued, "This is what he does every time a national disaster occurs. Forest fires? Badly managed your forest! Mass shooting? You should have been armed! You know … hurricane? Your island is very badly located. His response to every tragedy is, "How can I hurt myself?"
Maher went on to say, "He needs empathy for food courts in an atmosphere."
