Authorities fear that "thousands of victims" have been sexually assaulted by an orthopedic surgeon and a California reality TV star after he and his girlfriend were charged with drugging and sexually assaulting two women.
Grant William Robicheaux, 38, and Cerissa Laura Riley, 31, have been charged with rape by drug use, copulation by anesthesia or a controlled substance.
They have also been accused of owning large amounts of drugs and Robicheaux faces an additional charge of possession of an assault weapon.

Robicheaux, an orthopedic surgeon, appeared on the Bravo TV show "Online Dating Rituals of the American Male" four years ago.
But authorities say the two women may not be the only victims of Robicheaux and Riley. The investigators reportedly seized "thousands upon thousands" of videos involving the couple and other unidentified women who appear intoxicated.
"I have not seen any cases in my career involving so many videos and sexual acts and possible crimes," District Attorney Tony Rackauckas said at the press conference.
"During my career, I have not seen any cases involving so many videos, sexual acts and possible crimes."
The authorities believe that Robicheaux and Riley used their eyes to attack their alleged victims. "We believe the defendants have used their beauty and charm to reduce the inhibition of their potential prey," Rackauckas said. "We have all heard of a wolf in sheep's clothing. A wolf can wear scrubs or doctor's clothes. Or a wolf can be a beautiful woman.
"There are thousands and thousands of videos and images … There are several videos where women in videos seem very intoxicated, beyond the ability to consent or resist. They are hardly sensitive to the sexual advances of the accused, "he added. "Based on this evidence, we believe that there could be many unidentified victims."

By squeezing the number of videos of different victims, the district attorney responded with "a lot" and agreed that there could be "hundreds" or even thousands of victims.
Philip Cohen and Scott Borthwick, the couple's lawyers, denied the allegations in a statement provided to several media outlets.
"They have been aware of these accusations for several months and each of them will formally deny the truth of these allegations at their first opportunity in court," the statement said.
"Dr. Robicheaux and Ms. Riley believe that such allegations are harmful to the real victims of sexual assault and threaten them dangerously, and they are eager to bring this case to light in a public trial. "

The revelation of a large number of potential victims came after Robicheaux and Riley were accused of drugging and sexually assaulting two women. According to a press release from the Orange County Attorney's Office, the charges stem from two separate incidents.
Prosecutors say Robicheaux and Riley met the first woman, 32, at a restaurant in Newport Beach in April 2016. On April 10, they invited her to a party and took her back to her apartment. Robicheaux "once intoxicated".
The defendants are charged with providing multiple drugs to the victim, then raping her and copulating her orally while she was unable to resist due to intoxicating and controlled substances.

The second case took place less than six months later, on October 2, 2016.
The couple reportedly met the second woman in a bar in Newport Beach, where they drank with her until she was unconscious.
Prosecutors say they took her back to Robicheaux's apartment, where they sexually assaulted her "with intent to commit rape".
The couple must be back in court on October 25th. They are currently free to have a deposit of $ 100,000, according to the court records.
