Two Broadcasters from Detroit Tigers Fought in the Stand Postgame

It is apparently the week of baseball fights this week, just days after the Mariners had a club fight that none of them will recognize or speak, two of the Tigers broadcasters physically fought on the stand . The sport described as "simmering tension" between the two.

Fans knew something was happening when Rod Allen and Mario Impemba did not participate in the show before Wednesday's game. The sport reported it for the first time because they fought on the stand after Tuesday night's game at the White Sox.

Totally normal, nothing to see here.

Reports indicate that Impemba and Allen even traveled to Detroit separately to ensure that they would not argue when they returned home. Yeeeeesh. the Detroit Free Press reports that one person called the fight "severe", but there are few other details about what happened, other than that it was broken by a third party.

Apparently, the two broadcasters have been in disagreement for some time and their personalities are simply not making noise. What, as in other stands, can sometimes mean the magic of the game. Sometimes, apparently, it can go too far and two MLB professional commentators throw hands after the match instead of just surrender at the hotel bar for Jameson and their applications.

FOX Sports Detroit's director of social media and communications, Courtney Welch, said about the incident …

"We are dealing with an internal problem and we will have no other comments for the moment."

… while Allen's agent said about the reports

"I do not discuss professional matters involving my clients with people who are not my clients or their employers."
