Police have identified two Florida women accused of catching a veteran's assistance dog from Vietnam last month.

On October 28, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office responded to a call that a Pomeranian service dog had disappeared without a trace. The owner is a 67-year-old Vietnamese veteran with post-traumatic stress disorder.

The surveillance video shows a woman who starts an altercation with the victim, while the other comes from behind, releases the dog named Kira and goes with it, according to a press release from the sheriff's office.

Monique Cosser, 51, and Jennifer Gotschall, 53, were identified Wednesday as the women seen in the video.

53-year-old Jennifer Gotschall and 51-year-old Monique Cosser were identified Wednesday after a council of the "concerned citizen" took them to the police. Kira was also found "in good health," police said.

The victim, who was not identified, was in the old town with his two Pomeranian assistance dogs at the time of the incident.

Gotschall and Cosser were charged with robbery, a third-degree crime punishable by up to five years' imprisonment. Officials said they would have been released on bail.

Associated Press contributed to this report.
