Ty Dolla $ ign was arrested for alleged possession of cocaine and marijuana while traveling to a concert in Atlanta.
The 33-year-old singer "Or Nah" and six other people were arrested around 4:55 pm On Wednesday in Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Block 800, the Atlanta police said, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Officers allegedly intercepted the pickup truck in which the singer was located because they smelled of marijuana, the store reported.
After searching the vehicle, the police reportedly found marijuana and cocaine.
Eyewitness images obtained by TMZ show a police dog and police officers who searched Ty Dolla $ ign's vehicle. Ty Dolla $ ign, who is currently dating Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui, was also handcuffed and placed in a police car.

According to The Blast, the other six occupants of the truck have been released and should not be charged, reported The Blast.

The singer was scheduled to perform in G-Eazy's debut with Lil Uzi Vert and YBN Nahmir at the Cellairis Amphitheater in Lakewood on Wednesday night.

In addition to his arrest, Ty Dolla $ ign is known for writing songs for big names in music, including Kanye West, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Drake and Rihanna.
He also worked with Fifth Harmony on "Work From Home". Together, Fifth Harmony and Ty Dolla $ ign won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Collaboration Video in 2016.
