Tyler Eifert of the Bengals is seriously injured in the leg and should stay away for a long time

The tight back of the Cincinnati Bengals, Tyler Eifert, can not catch a break. Eifert is one of the best players in the NFL when he is healthy – a Pro Bowl player. But he can not stay on the ground.

Eifert suffered what appeared to be another serious injury Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. After catching a pass from Andy Dalton early in the third quarter, Eifert rolled his leg under himself. It appeared that his leg and / or ankle were pointing in the wrong direction.

The next photo of Eifert that is discussed is not the most graphical representation of the injury you will see, but it is not pretty. Consider this as a warning for those with weak stomachs.

Looking at the game on NFL Red Zone, one could hear Scott Hanson urging producers not to reproduce Eifert's injury and the resulting damage to the lower part of his leg. More than a few NFL journalists shared the same feeling on Twitter.

Eifert stayed in the field for several minutes and was eventually fired. Players from both teams approached the wagon to wish him good luck, as he had been taken back to the tunnel.

The Bengals are already without return Joe Mixon at the beginning of the year after getting knee injury during the second week, and will likely have to work without the tight end of the game before the start of the course. For Eifert, it must be simply devastating to be likely back for the year.
